Kelly Borkertas

Lead Vocals/Band Leader

Instruments/Roles – Operations Director, Lead Vocals, Backing Vocals – Singing and Rapping, Dancing, Songwriter (can play chopsticks on keyboards hee hee)

Likes – Performing, Travelling, going to the Gym, Cooking

Experience – Professional Singer since 2001. Lead Vocalist in various Function Bands, Dep singer for various Function Bands, Amy Winehouse Tribute Act, Lead Vocalist of Project X Duo, The Quantum Project, The Motowners, Ultra 90s and Ultra Noughties. And original artist – ‘Borkertas’. Performed all over the UK, Germany, Spain, Corfu, Japan, Cyprus and Turkey

Favourite Food – Thai Food, Broccolini and Avocado

Fun fact – Kelly started her singing career at a very young age, singing to the cows on the farm

Chris Wade

Instruments/Roles – Musical Director, Keyboards, Bass Guitar, Programmer, Rapper, Lighting Designer/Technician, Sound Engineer, Songwriter, Producer

Likes – Creating music, video, imagery... watching movies, travelling, listening to podcasts

Experience – BTEC National Diploma in Popular Music, plays keyboards / bass in various touring shows, function bands. MD for The Motowners, Ultra 90s, Ultra Noughties touring UK and abroad

Richard 'the' Lyon

Instruments/Roles – Guitar & Bass (a little on Drums & Keys)

Likes – Designing and making things, Origami, Art, Performing, Lighting, Music, Movies, Wining and Dining.

Experience – HND in Music Technology, Degree in Audio & Recording Technology, Playing Guitar since 2002, touring with Ultra 90s, Ultra Noughties and The Motowners since 2010. Performed all over the UK

Favourite Food – A two-way tie between Jool's Pregnant Pasta (A Jamie Oliver Recipe) and Budae Jigae (Korean Army Stew)

Fun fact – I once had to go into one of the most haunted rooms in Britain, directly after a live seance (held by Derrick Akora), on my own, to retrieve some microphones

Cory Maxwell

Cory Maxwell
Crew/Hype Man

Instruments/Roles – Vocals, can hold a beat on drums, Hype Man

Likes – Cycling, playing Xbox, watching various genres of movies, listenting and dancing to 90s music ;) and creating cool stuff on photoshop and after effects

Experience – Touring with Ultra 90s including setting up, dancing and pack-down. I'm also a fully qualified level 2 Plumber and level 3 trained in both Fire & Safety and First Aid

Favourite Food – has to be Subway

Fun fact – I can jump really high and jump off things at height and sustain no damage

Michelle Borkertas

Instrument/roles - Singer, can rap a little too. Artist manager, Stage manager and tour mum (catering) (Dep Vocals for 90s Jam)

Likes - Singing, Kickboxing (currently Green belt), Driving, Walking, Family time, binge watching Netflix

Experience - Always sang in plays at school and had the lead role at a performance at Belvoir castle with the National School. Started singing with ‘The Quantum Project’ in 2006, branching out solo in 2008. Now back working with the PX teams as various roles, singer, manager administrator you name it I do it ;)

Favourite food - Chocolate

Fun fact - I once had the talent of fitting in bass drum cases (check out YouTube) then I had my children lol

Instrument - Drums.

Likes - Touring, Performing, Live Music, Harley Davidson.

Experience - Playing drums from the age of 11 and in bands from 14 years old, ranging from local bands to international touring bands including playing for the Royal Air Force Voluntary Bands. Lucky enough to have played shows all over Europe and Scandinavia. Currently playing for Cypher16. I have been part of the Ultra 90s since June 2019 so by all accounts.. a newbie!

Emma Brett

Instruments/Roles – Choreographer, Dance Captain and Dancer

Likes – Dancing, playing the piano, travelling all over the world and eating international food!

Experience – BA hons in Dance Performance and have since performed internationally in various hotels, casinos, cruise ships, events and theme parks as a dancer, choreographer and magician’s assistant

Favourite Food – Cake!

Fun fact – I’ve been performing for Ultra 90s since 2010 and even danced for them on a cruise ship contract!

Rhyanne Shearstone

Instrument/roles - Assistant Stage manager and co-tour mum (catering)

Likes - Cooking, going on walks/adventures to new places, going on drives and gaming.

Experience - I've helped out at gigs as backstage assistant. Worked across the hospitaility industry, bar work in several nightclubs, bar manager and am training to be a personal license holder.

Favourite food - Spaghetti Bolognase or Chinese

Fun fact - I cycled coast to coast 3 times during my time at Secondary School.

Candice Waterman

Instruments/Role - Vocals, mainly Musical Theatre - and an Ultra 90s Dancer!

Likes - Obviously dancing and singing! Spontaneous days out and mini adventures, trying new things and spending time with friends/family.

Experience - I started dancing at a young age and went on to train at LIPA and Shockout Arts, completing BA Homs Degree. I then went onto PGCE M Cert 14+ to become a qualified teacher of Creative Arts. I now run my own Arts centre in Manchester. I joined the Party Like Gatsby European tour and spent over a year with them, appeared in music videos, choreographed for big events and Pantomime’s across Manchester and worked for numerous entertainment companies across the UK.

Favourite Food - Everything but especially Italian and Chinese, and I love a good Sunday roast!

Fun Fact - I am an official workaholic.. during my last year at Uni, I worked as a dance teacher, a Casino events assistant, a shot seller in a nightclub, a performer in a night club and a catering assistant at events across Manchester including Christmas Markets - all at the same time, whilst in full time training completing my degree - and I SURVIVED.

Kayleigh Ashdown

Instruments/Role - Dancer, Actor, Singer and the girliest looking drummer you’ll ever meet.

Likes - PERFORMING! Meeting new people, spending time with my favourite people, trying new things, exploring the world, going out of my comfort zone and living life half full.

Experience - I danced since I was 3 years old. I went on to train for 3 years at Italia Conti Arts Centre and also gained my teaching qualifications in ISTD and PGCE. I have been lucky to be able to tick off everything on my performing bucket list with my most recent contracts being a dancer at Disneyland Paris and in Dubai. I joined the Ultra 90s family over a year ago and I am so grateful to be able to still dance professionally alongside my full time job working as a musical theatre licensing manager to widen my knowledge on other aspects of the industry I am so passionate about.

Favourite Food - Triple choc sensation dairy milk chocolate is to die for. But can’t go wrong with a good old homemade spag bowl.

Fun Fact - I still have my blue peter badge from singing reach for the stars on blue peter - my highlight was meeting basil brush!

Hannah Gotts

Likes - Fitness classes, long walks, animals

Experience - I have loved dancing from a young age and trained at Tiffany Theatre College in ballet, tap, jazz, commercial and musical theatre. I have worked as a Christmas parade dancer for Harrods and character performer for Little Princess Parties. I have also performed for various event companies at clubs and venues across the South Coast.

Favourite food - Everything - there's literally no food I wont eat!

Fun fact - I ran a marathon a few years ago. Never again!

Leah Knight

Instruments/Roles - Dancer for PX productions... but all round performer

Likes - Travelling, hot weather, my hot tub, spending time with my husband, family and friends including my french bulldog!

Experience - I started dancing and performing on stage at quite a young age. I have joined many local musical societies and performed for many years with them including dance groups. I am now head choreographer for some of these groups and also teach dance to children and adults with The Beth Cresswell School of Dance. I continued my love for performing arts after school where I took qualifications in musical theatre. Once I left and qualified with a BTEC in musical theatre, I was asked to joined the Ultra 90s team where I have stayed since 2011! I have toured the country with Ultra 90s, The Motowners and Ultra Noughties/Dirty Waves. I hope I stay for many more years!

Favourite Food - Italian pizza and pasta!

Fun fact - I danced with Clare from Steps after performing at Rylans wedding, I also try to have at least 5 holidays abroad a year... failing that, I try to go to 5 destinations abroad... woops!

Sharon Cannings

Instruments/Roles – Singer, Keyboards, can play a little bit of bass and acoustic guitar and loves playing the drums when anyone will let her!

Likes –Steampunk, cats, making shiny sparkly things

Experience –trained actress at Mountview Academy, writer and producer for film production company Ermine Street Project CIC, backing singer/keyboards with Time is Money, Freda in Planet ABBA, lead vocalist with Brass Zeppelin, lead vocalist in Dancefloor Inferno and as a solo performer, Violet Hugh

Fun fact – Once worked in Harrods and sold aftershave to Russ Abbott and Trevor Sinclair. Also a self taught silversmith

Jade Peters

Lead Vocals

Instruments/Roles – my voice, lead singer/songwriter, currently working towards grade two in piano.

Likes – Singing, songwriting, playing piano, going gym, fitness classes, long walks, spending time with the ones I love & cooking.

Experience – I went to Suffolk New Collage for two years & achieved a triple Distinction in Performing arts. I took part in the 2014 series of The Voice UK and managed to bag a place in the knock out rounds. I have gigged in over 300 venues in the past 2 years both locally, nationally & globally.

I have achieved a distinction in musical theatre and in Grade one piano. I have travelled to various locations across the world such as Spain, Italy, Poland & Dubai.

I am currently working alongside a label called 'Gingerdog records' I have lyrically written all 10 tracks towards my first ever original album which we plan to release early next year (2018).

Favourite Food – Italian ( Vegetarian Lasagne)

Fun fact – the first song I learnt to sing and would demand my family to listen to me sing EVERY NIGHT was 'I'm a little teapot'

Experience - Fifteen years in the music industry as a performer, session musician, producer and educator

Favourite Food - Changes all the time! Currently working on perfecting my homemade triple-cooked chips

Fun Fact - I wrote a World Cup single for former Norwich City and England goalkeeper John Ruddy in 2014, he liked it so much he sent me a pair of signed gloves worn in an England Game

Stephanie Mclaren

Instruments/Roles – lead vocalist / rapping and I do a pretty mean sidestep when the beat picks up!

Likes – Performing, gigging, singing, cooking and playing piano. I'm also a massive fan of Lord of the Rings.

Experience – My love for music started at a very early age. I play piano and flute and have a guilty pleasure for game and movie sound tracks. When I moved on to college I enrolled on the performing arts level 3 BTEC course and came out with a triple distinction grade. I've worked on holiday parks as an entertainer and cabaret singer for 4 years and now I'm a solo vocalist with my own show. I write and perform my own original songs in venues and clubs. I also sing for 5 different function bands. I'm currently working with the manager of the late Nick Menza from Megadeath wtiting lyrics and singing lead vocals for Nicks music that he wanted to release before he passed away.

Favourite Food – Italian, Thai and good home cooking

Fun fact – my first ever gig was when I was 10yrs old and I went to see Aled Jones, IT WAS AMAZING!!

Theo Williams-Burchell

Likes – Playing Drums, Music Production, Norwich City FC, Coffee, Film & TV

Experience – I have been playing drums for as long as I can remember, grew up listening to anything from classic Rock & Blues to 90's Dance and Trance. I have been playing in bands for 7 years, and currently I am working for Soul and R&B artist Roddy Ryan with whom I played the Latitude festival in 2021. I am also studying a BA in Live Music Performance at Waterbear in Brighton.

Favourite Food – Can’t beat a good Indian takeaway! My order is always Tikka Masala.

Fun Fact – Achieved best band of Access to music 2020, awarded by Phil Taggart. Met Delia Smith in a restaurant when I was 10 and she kindly signed my Norwich shirt.
